US executives have never been selling so much of their companies stock
The ratio of US insider sellers to buyers hit the highest level on record
The ratio of insider sellers to buyers of US companies’ stock hit nearly 6x, the highest ever recorded.
The ratio has even exceeded the previous high seen in 2021, before the 2022 bear market. This is yet another evidence showing that US executives are cashing out.
This does not necessarily mean the market is going to crash overnight as this ratio usually leads the market by a quarter or two but it is certainly something to consider given the sky-high valuations.
Interesting times.
