Global central banks are on track to cut rates 153 times this year, the most since the 2020 pandemic crisis. That is also the second-highest level since the Great Financial Crisis.
In 2025, the Bank of America expects 124 reductions, the fourth highest this century.
It appears that global central banks are rapidly cutting rates to avoid a recession. Will they manage to do that?
