Bitcoin prices have rallied a massive 100% year-to-date
Bitcoin prices are now testing a key milestone of $90,000
Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency in the world briefly hit over $89,000 on Wednesday posting a new all-time record. It has increased over 100% thus far this year.
Over the last 12 months, Bitcoin is up a whopping 139%.
To put this into perspective, less volatile and less risky gold is up 26%.
Interestingly, the Bitcoin to gold ratio has still not reached a new all-time high.
At the current gold price of ~$2,600, Bitcoin would need to rise to $100,000 to make the ratio hit a new record.
